ACEO Clown Portrait #75 "Palyaço Yakup"

Clown #75 "Palyaço Yakup"
acrylic on paper, 2 ½” x 3 ½” (64 x 89 mm), 2018
SOLD

Clown #75 is  inspired by a Turkish clown "Palyaço Yakup" who lives in Gökçeada, Turkey.  While I was doing  a research about Turkish clowns, I found a nice article  written about him some years ago by a blogger.  Yakup worked many years in the film and entertainment industry. He plays music with saw and other instruments. Now he is a retired clown who runs a Bed & Breakfast in a small island in Eagean sea.
