ACEO Clown #213 "Palhaço Croquete"
2 ½” x 3 ½” (64 x 89 mm)
ACEO Clown Portrait #213 is inspired by a wonderful clown "Palhaço Croquete" (António Assunção) from Cascais, Portugal. In 1979 Croquete started with a small performance at a Hotel in Estoril, where he felt so good in public that he immediately started working and formed a successful team with Batatinha. This duo and other solo projects that followed made Palhaço Croquete an icon of circus art in Portugal. After the duo's separation, for more than 4 decades Croquete performed on TV shows and other venues. Also during these period he recorded 5 music albums which he sings.
