Clown #85 is homage to "Fofó" aka Alfonso Aragón Bermúdez (1923-1976), a clown artist and singer from Madrid, Spain. His mother was an acrobat in circus and he was the nephew of famous clowns "Pompoff and Thedy". He worked with his brothers Gabriel and Emilio in 30' and formed a clown trio "Gaby, Fofó and Miliki". In 1946, when their father passed away they left Spain and went to South America and they became very popular clowns, working in Puerto Rico, US, Venezuela, Mexico, Argentina.
In 1972, Fofó and his brothers moved back to Spain and started to work at the famous TV show "El Gran Circo de TVE". They were very popular in Spain. Fofó passed away very young and unexpectedly in 1976.
