ACEO Clown portrait #140 is inspired by a professional circus clown "Fumagalli" (Gianni Huesca) from Genoa, Italy. He is the younger brother of famous clown Daris Huesca. For many years he performed with his brother in a remarkable tight-wire act, as the Feller Boys, which combined all sorts of balancing feats with teeter board on the wire. Later on they became circus clowns and they worked at Circus Roncalli. In January 2001, he was invited to the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo, where he won the prestigious Silver Clown award. That same year, he toured in Germany with the short-lived Circus Fumagalli, which he ran with his brother for one season. After that, Daris Huesca and Fumagalli limited their activities to clowning and starred in some of the world's most prestigious circuses, including Cirkus Benneweis; Circus Knie; the Cirque d'Hiver-Bouglione in Paris; Circus Carré in Amsterdam; and the Big Apple Circus, as well as in several variety shows. They also became frequent guests on the hit French television variety show, Le plus grand cabaret du monde. In 2015, Fumagalli and Daris won the coveted Gold Clown at the 39th International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo—the most prestigious award in the circus world.
