ACEO Clown Portrait #162 "Lecile Harris"
ACEO Clown Portrait #162 is a homage to a legendary Rodeo Clown "Lecile Harris" (1928- 2020) from Mississippi, US. Harris got his start in rodeo as a bull rider and then a fill-in bullfighter while still in high school and developed into one of the sport’s most respected funnymen over a career that has spanned more than half a century. At age 52, Lecile said, one “lick” from a bull broke his pelvis, ankle and four ribs, tore up his knee and gave him a concussion. That’s when he switched to clowning full time. People called him as “Dean of Rodeo Clowns/Bullfighters”. He also appeared on TV shows like Hee Haw and films like Walking Tall The Final Chapter.
