ACEO Clown Portrait #265 "César Dias"

ACEO Clown portrait #264 "César Dias''
2 ½” x 3 ½” (64 x 89 mm)

ACEO Clown #265 is inspired by a very talented clown and musical comedian "César Dias" from Portugal. César comes from a long circus lineage, representing the fourth generation in his family. He began performing at the age of six and initially specialized in "rola rola," a balancing act that became his circus debut. He worked in various circuses across Portugal and Spain, honing his craft and embracing the circus lifestyle.

At 19, César chose to step away from his rola rola act to follow his passion for comedy. He tried his hand at clowning, but initially found himself dissatisfied with the traditional clown persona. He yearned for something different, something fresh that could blend humor with a contemporary edge, and which allowed him to explore comedy in a broader sense.

He is currently performing in Europa Park, Germany’s largest theme park. Cesar has performed worldwide, including in China, Russia, Italy, France, and Switzerland. Cesar competed in the 43rd International Festival du Cirque de Monte Carlo where he was awarded the prestigious Bronze Clown from Princess Stephanie and Prince Albert II, Cesar is making his Las Vegas debut with his outrageous acts.
