ACEO Clown Portrait #146 "Bello Nock"

ACEO Clown #146  "Bello Knock"
2 ½” x 3 ½” (64 x 89 mm), 2019

ACEO Clown portrait #146 is inspired by a famous American clown "Bello Knock" ( Dimitrios Alexandros Claudio Nock ) from Sarasota, Florida, US. He is seventh generation of a circus performer and his family origins come from Switzerland's Circus Nock in the 18th century. He is clowning around more than 40 years! He began performing at age three, playing the baby on the burning house in Disney on Parade's "Dumbo's Circus". At age six, he played Michael Darling in the touring version of Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby. He performed his family's trademark sway pole act at the age of 15. He performed at New York's Big Apple Circus in 2000.  In 2001, he joined Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus as their headliner. In 2011, Bello won the prestigious Gold Clown at the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo. For more info about him visit his website https://bellonock.com/
