2 ½” x 3 ½” (64 x 89 mm), 2019

ACEO Clown Portrait #107 is inspired by clown "Ay-ai-ai" aka Leonid Leikin, a clown, actor, director from Russia. He first appeared on the stage in 1980, when he urgently needed to replace the sick artist, after which he became an actor in the Litsedei theater. After some time working in the theater, Leonid Leikin created his own number with the participation of Polunin - “Nizya”. The number was shown in “Blue light” on the night from 1984 to the 85th year. So glory came to Leikin.

Leonid Leikin was born on June 23, 1961 in Leningrad. In 1999 he moved to Las Vegas, USA and began working at the world's leading Canadian circus du Soleil in a show called Alegria. With this program circus traveled almost all European countries. In 2006, du Soleil invited Leikin to participate in the show "O" (water). In 2008, he staged the show “Zaya” in the framework of the circus du Soleil in China, Macau. Since 2009 He works in Litsedei theater in Russia.
